Coca-Cola Teamsters Take Fight for Affordable Healthcare to Bills Game

Local Coke Bottler Workers to Inform Fans of Company's Plans to Drastically

Raise Healthcare Costs

Coca-Cola (NYSE:KO) production and warehouse workers, employed by Abarta Beverage Group will distribute information about their fight to preserve good jobs with affordable healthcare to fans at the final pre-season game of the year -- Detroit Lions vs. Buffalo Bills. The workers are members of Teamsters Local 264.

"It is high time for Abarta to respect the hard work of their employees and negotiate a fair contract," said Glen Miller, Teamsters Local 264 Business Representative. "The production and warehouse workers have been without a contract since June 5, 2005."
